We offer early and late rates to encourage early registrations. This helps us estimate the number of onsite and virtual attendees for planning space, food, beverage, supplies, and to avoid system crashes and other glitches from unexpectedly high volume with last-minute registrations. 

Registration Dates

  • Early Registration (Non-Presenters): Starts October 25, 2025 (GMT +5:30)
  • Early Registration: Ends November 30, 2025, 23:59 (GMT +5:30)
  • Regular Registration: Ends for In-Person and Virtual: Dec 19, 2025, 23:59 (GMT +5:30)
  • On-site Registration: Will open for In-Person and Virtual during Dec 20-24. See onsite registration times (GMT +5:30)

Registration and Attendance

To be included in the IJCNLP-AACL 2025 Proceedings, at least one author for each accepted paper must be registered by the Early Registration Deadline of November 30.

For Findings papers, only those being presented require at least one author to register. Findings papers not being presented do not require registration, but they will still be included in both the conference proceedings and the ACL Anthology.

Registration Tiers

The Executive Committee has established three main registration tiers, with an additional presentation fee applicable to authors presenting papers.

These tiers help balance costs — ensuring that the direct expenses of presentations are covered, while keeping attendance affordable for non-presenting participants.

Tier Categories

  • Industry / Non-Academic Pricing
    • Applicable to participants from for-profit organizations.
    • This is the highest tier, helping subsidize academic and student participation.
  • Academic Pricing
    • Applicable to participants from universities, research institutions, and non-profit organizations.
    • Standard registration tier for non-student academic attendees.
  • Student Pricing
    • Discounted tier for enrolled students (proof of status required).
    • Designed to encourage active student participation in the conference

Authors Registration Details

  • Policy: At least one author per accepted paper must register for presentation.
  • Coverage: One registration can cover multiple papers by the same author.

Invited Speakers

Invited speakers will receive a registration code. Additional invited speakers must register as attendees. ACL membership is not included.

D&I Subsidies and Regional Waivers

  • D&I subsidies remain available to offset registration and travel costs.
  • Papers with all authors in regions eligible for free/sliding-scale virtual registration may register under those terms.
  • If you have submitted a subsidy application, please select the payment option: “My registration has been approved by an ACL grant code.” If you have been notified that your subsidy application was denied, your registration will reflect a balance due. You will be responsible for covering this amount. Please note that all outstanding balances must be paid in full to gain entry to the conference.
  • 20% of total participants (full for students and partial waivers for others)

Registration Rates

In-Person Full Conference Registration Includes:

  • Access to all in-person and virtual sessions, with on-demand recordings available for one month after the conference.
  • Daily coffee breaks and lunch during the conference.
  • Social Dinner on 23 December 2025.

In-Person Tutorial/Workshop-Only Registration Includes:

  • Admission to the specific tutorial or workshop session (in-person and virtual).
  • Daily coffee breaks and lunch during the session days.
  • Social Dinner on 23 December 2025.

Virtual Registration Includes:

  • Access to all sessions via the Underline online platform.
  • Access to the poster gallery and networking sessions through the virtual platform.
  • Recorded sessions available on demand for one month post-conference.

Membership Policy

All attendees must be 2025 ACL members. Membership will be added if not already paid:

  • $100 – Industry/Academic
  • $50 – Students

Benefits (Jan–Dec 2025):

  • Access to all ACL conferences without repaying membership fees
  • Open access to ACL Anthology, CL Journal, TACL Journal
  • Notifications of calls, journals, and events

IJCNLP-AACL Cancellation & Refund Policy

IJCNLP-AACL is committed to supporting our attendees while ensuring fairness and predictability in managing event registrations. Please review our cancellation and refund policy carefully before completing your registration.

Cancellations up to three weeks before the conference (December 01, 2025) will be refunded the ACL membership (if paid as part of the registration) and any amounts paid over and above the first $200. Cancellations 2 weeks before the start of the conference (December 07, 2025), and all no-shows, will not be refunded any amount. They will be able to retain their current full-year ACL membership (if paid as part of the registration) and have access virtually on Underline.

Exceptions:

  • Allowed the conversion of in-person registration to virtual and the difference shall be refunded as per the past AACL policy.
